This Privacy Policy explains how Aravir Technologies Private Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles information in the LiquorPOS mobile applications and website at liquorpos.aravir.in (together, the “Service”). LiquorPOS is billing, inventory and compliance software for liquor retailers. It is intended for use by businesses and the adults who operate them, not by children.

1. Information we collect

We collect only what the Service needs to work:

Account details. Your name, email address, phone number (if provided) and a securely hashed password, plus your role (owner, manager or supervisor).
Business & shop data. The information you enter to run your shops — outlet details and registration/APSBCL codes, products and prices, stock, purchases and APSBCL/ICDC invoice data you import, sales and bills, daily stock sheets, cash and expense entries, and the reports generated from them.
Customer data you enter. If you use customer or loyalty features, any customer details you choose to record. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to enter this data.
Payment information. Subscription payments are processed by our payment processor, Razorpay. We receive confirmation of payment and limited billing details (such as the last four digits of a card and the transaction status); we do not collect or store your full card number, CVV or bank credentials.
Technical basics. Standard server logs (such as IP address, device identifier and request time) used for security, rate-limiting and troubleshooting, kept only briefly.
Notifications. If you enable push notifications, we store a device push token to deliver them. You can turn notifications off in your device settings at any time.

We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos or advertising identifiers, and the Service contains no third-party advertising.

2. How we use information

To provide the Service — accounts, billing, stock, reports and offline sync.
To take subscription payments and issue invoices.
To keep the Service secure and prevent abuse (authentication, rate-limiting, fraud prevention).
To provide support and respond to your requests.
To send notifications you have opted into, and important service notices.
To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

3. How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Service, and only as needed:

Razorpay — to process subscription payments securely.
Our hosting provider — the servers that run the Service's backend and website.
Push-notification provider — to deliver notifications, if you enable them.

We may also disclose information if required by law, regulation or valid legal process, or to protect our rights, users or the public.

4. Data retention & deletion

We keep your account and business data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and associated data at any time from within the app, or by emailing us — see Delete your account. Some records (such as payment and tax records) may be retained for the period required by law. Security logs are kept only for a short period and then deleted.

5. Security

Passwords are stored hashed, traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), and access to your data is protected by authentication and role-based permissions. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these, contact us at hello@aravir.in.

7. Children

The Service is business software and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, announced in the app.
